Taylan Wolfe

Taylan Wolfe is a 9-year-old driver champion driver who started her racing career competing in oval karts at age 6. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 3, she has proven that having Type 1 Diabetes does not define her- it drives her.

In her first year of racing in the Novice Class, Taylan won the South Florida Karting Season Championship, and in 2022, she became the youngest driver to win the South Florida Karting Season Champion in the JR 1 Division. She was voted Most Improved Jr Driver by her peers. Taylan won every oval race she competed in during the 2023 season while proving her racing diversity in shifting her focus to road course racing. She earned multiple top-5 finishes, her first podium, and her first road course win in her first full season competing in the Micro Division. She was featured as a kart driver to watch in The New York Times and on the Local 10 News out of Miami.

In 2024 Taylan is making the jump to racing at the National Level.  In her first National Series attempt, the SKUSA Winter Tour, she earned finishes of 7th, 8th, 10th, and 13th, and she is ready to take on her first ProTour challenge this season. Taylan’s dream is to become the first female driver to win the Daytona 500, following in the footsteps of her dad, who won it as a NASCAR Crew Chief.
